Writer I Leader I Mentor
Here is a small sample of some of the work I have done while working at The Villages Daily Sun Newspaper — the largest daily newspaper in Florida and a 2024 Pulitzer Prize Finalist.
Since working at the paper, I have covered a wide variety of beats from neighborhoods and clubs to charity across three counties.
As a mentor I have promoted our brand at local job fairs and play a role in staff development as an Elevator on Team Elevate, which develops training opportunities, promotes wellness events and encourages both developing and seasoned journalist to engage in team building exercises and building better sourcing with community outreach.
